PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear provided with a torque limiter function to enable promotion of compactness while achieving reduction of cost. SOLUTION: In this reduction gear 1 provided with the torque limiter function, a plurality of planetary friction wheels 11 installed on a planetary carrier 12 is rotated by a friction part 3a of a drive shaft 3, and each planetary friction wheel 11 is revolved along an inner friction wheel 22, so that a prescribed reduction ratio is achieved. In addition, for providing the reduction gear 1 with the torque limiter function, the planetary friction gears 11 are employed, and in the inner friction wheel 22, a circular friction taper surface 22a to press a circumferential surface of the planetary friction wheel 11 from the outer side is formed. With this friction taper surface 22a, rotation loss of the planetary friction wheel 11 is reduced, and an output shaft 14 fixed to the planetary carrier 12 is automatically aligned.
