PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downstream water level controller stably working in a preset water level range. SOLUTION: A door body is installed in a watercourse. A float 2 moving in conjunction with the door body is installed in a room 5 formed in the watercourse side. A hydrostatic pond 23 is provided in the upstream of a float room 5 and an upper limit water level detecting tube 26 into which the upstream water flows in and lower limit water level detecting tube 27 are arranged. A retarding pond 24 is made in the downstream of the float room 5 and a detection float 21 detecting the downstream water level is housed therein. The lower part of the lower limit water level detecting tube 27 is extended, U-turned in the retarding pond 24, and opened in the float room 5. A valve body 20 integrally built in the lower part of the detection float 21 is assembled in the inside 28 projected to the retarding pond 24 of the lower limit water level detection tube 27. The valve body 20 is closed in the case that the detection float 21 is higher than a preset water level. Water volume flowing in the float room 5 in compliance with the fluctuation of the downstream water level is adjusted in the upper and lower limit water level. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
