PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network scanner device capable of transmitting images to be transmitted as many as possible by automatically reducing the data size of the images to be transmitted even when the data size of the images to be transmitted exceeds transmission limit size. SOLUTION: The network scanner system is provided with a data size reducing processing means for reducing the data size of images to be transmitted in determining that the data size of the images to be transmitted exceeds the transmission limit size, a discrimination means for discriminating whether the data size of the images to be transmitted, after applying the data size reducing processing, exceeds the transmission limit size or not, and a means for transmitting the images to be transmitted as an E-mail in discriminating by the discrimination means that the data size of images to be transmitted whose data size is reduced is smaller than the transmission limit size.
