<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of a fuel cell due to the occlusion of a gas flow path in a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel cell system, whether or not generated water is plugged up in the piping of a cathode offgas is determined based on pressure in the piping.
