PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial joint for segments, which consists of a joint pin having circumferential linear projections each having a triangular cross section, and a socket into which the joint pin is inserted, wherein the axial joint exerts excellent characteristics for preventing slipout thereof. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the axial joint, an interior angleθ<SB>1</SB>at a distal end of the triangular cross section of each circumferential linear projection is set to the range of 5°<θ<SB>1</SB>< 35°, and an interior angleθ<SB>2</SB>at a proximal end of the same is set to the range of 35°<θ<SB>2</SB>< 120°.
