METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR POLISHING SQUEEGEE USED FOR SCREEN PRINTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for polishing a urethane-rubber-made squeegee by which the generation of a burr on an edge is suppressed. SOLUTION: The polishing apparatus has an abrasive wheel head 15 including an abrasive wheel 171 for grinding the surface of the squeegee. The abrasive wheel head includes a first trestle 150 and a second trestle 160 wherein the first trestle can reciprocate in parallel with the set squeegee and the second trestle can move orthogonally to the moving direction of the first trestle. The abrasive wheel is provided on the second trestle, and a grinding operation is performed while the wheel is moved in zigzag so as to suppress the generation of the burr on the edge of the squeegee.
