PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter transferring box in which a substrate of a color filter 20 shows a less looseness (less motion) during its transferring, no damage or scar is produced and defect damaging foreign objects are not produced. SOLUTION: A color filter transferring box has a following feature. That is, a plurality of steps of rectangular-shaped groove parts are fixed in an equal interval from an upper surface of a bottom part at each of the inner walls of right and left side walls fixed on the bottom part of the box for transferring a glass substrate (hereinafter called as a glass filter) such as a color filter or the like; the color filter is inserted in a horizontal direction between the groove part and the groove part just above the former and mounted; and the groove part has a chevron-shape.
