INTRAOCULAR LENS FOR AMBLYOPIA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens for amblyopia designed with peripheral vision as well as central vision in mind. SOLUTION: This intraocular lens comprises an optical component 1 with a refractive power and a holding mean 2 to hold the optical component 1 in an eye. The optical component 1 has a first optical area 10 formed within a prescribed radius from an optical center and a second optical area 20 formed outside of the area 10 concentrically. Optical characteristics of the first optical area 10 are determined to catch an enlarged image on a retina compared to the one reflected on the retina through the second optical area 20.
