A user identification apparatus for identifying a user of a user terminal which has performed communication on the Internet. The apparatus includes a first communication information acquisition unit for acquiring first communication information having a physical port correlated with an MAC address from an intelligent hub, a second communication information acquisition unit for acquiring second communication information having an MAC address correlated with a private IP address from a router, a third communication information acquisition unit for acquiring third communication information having a private IP address correlated with a global IP address from the router, and a port detection unit for detecting a physical port connected to a user terminal which has made communication according to a specified global IP address by using the global IP address.
