For a device managing an electronic device to be accessed, considering mounting on an electric appliance, the processing load for accessing from outdoors is reduced and the processing is managed safely. For this, the present invention realizes a remote device control method providing a communication environment for communication by performing call connection between terminals, under which a terminal connected to the device controls the device via one of the terminals from outside. This remote device control method receives a control information acquisition request from the one of the terminals, transfers the device control information to the one of the terminals, controls the device upon reception of the device control request from the one of the terminals, and transfers the control result to the one of the terminals. Thus, it is possible to control the partner device in a natural form during a dialogue from the other terminal, thereby preventing an unauthorized access.
