摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a condition of bubbles generated in a plurality of flow paths. SOLUTION: A sample analysis apparatus is provided with a sample preparation part for preparing an analysis sample using a sample collected from a sample container, an analysis part for analyzing the prepared sample, a fluid circuit having a plurality of the flow paths for transferring a sample preparation liquid to the sample preparation part and valves for opening and closing the flow paths, a bubble detection circuit for detecting the bubbles generated in the flow paths and a control part for selectively controlling to open and close the valves one by one, receiving an output from the bubble detection circuit and controlling the sample preparation part. The bubble detection circuit is provided with bubble sensors provided in the flow paths and outputting pulse logical signals in response to existence of the bubbles in the flow paths and an integration circuit for integrating time widths of the pulse signals indicating the existence of the bubbles in each bubble sensor. The control part determines degree of the generated bubbles from an integration value of the integration circuit corresponding to the flow path with the opened valve. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
