PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a hanger in which an arm part is foldable, the arm part can be inserted into a garment without extending the part of the nape even from the aperture part of the nape of the garment such as a T-shirt, can be extended in an open state even without holding the arm part, and can easily perform the open movement of the arm part with one hand. SOLUTION: A pair of the right and left arm parts 21 are pivoted at a shell 22, a handle section 21a, which turns into an open position the shells each other when held so as to be contacted with or approach the shell 22 side each other, is integrally formed in each of the arm parts 21, an elevating element 26 having a lock part 26d for locking in an open position the arm parts 21 when the handle section 21a is held in a mutually approaching direction is attached to the shell 22 in a way able to rise and fall, and a locking releasing section 26b exposed upward from the shell 22 is integrally prepared in the elevating element 26.
