PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily attachable/detachable intermediate transfer member that is suitable for toner liquid. SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer members 30, 102, and 104 include a drum 30 having an installation recess made in it, and an intermediate transfer blanket 104 set on the drum 30. The blanket 104 has on its one side a transfer face 109 for receiving a toner image. It optionally has an adhesive layer 126 on the opposite side. Additionally, it includes a mounting device 106 for installation which is attached to one of the edges of a transfer member formed of layers and which is fitted in the installation recess of the drum.
