Low complexity decoding of signals emitted through a constellation modulation

The procedure involves determining a reference point and a concurrent point corresponding to a nearest constellation point from a received point and the reference point, respectively. A precision data is determined from the points, for the bits of a reference numeric data. Bits of a numeric data associated to the concurrent point are determined from the values of bits of the reference data and a determined row. An Independent claim is also included for a decoding device.
