PURPOSE: A baffle device of a fuel tank for a vehicle is provided to absorb impact caused by flow of fuel in the fuel tank and supply supplementarily fuel to the inside of a reservoir cup by the impact energy. CONSTITUTION: A baffle device of a fuel tank for a vehicle comprises baffle plates(7) the lower ends of which are fastened to the inner lower end surface of a fuel tank; impact-absorbing cylinders(9) mounted to the inner sides of the fuel tank through the rear ends; return members each forming a retainer to a side of an operating rod(11) of the impact-absorbing cylinder; and auxiliary fuel supply pipes(25) each connecting a side of the rear outer periphery of the impact-absorbing cylinder to a reservoir cup(3). The tip of the operating rod of the impact-absorbing cylinder is connected to a side of the baffle plate through a hinge unit. The return member is interposed between the retainer and the front end part of the impact-absorbing cylinder.
