The present invention relates to a natural energy drink which provide an onset and steady maintenance of energy, mental alertness and nutrition to the consumer, as well as kits comprising the compositions and methods of using the compositions. In particular, the natural energy drink in the present invention includes one or more disaccharides, one or more carbohydrate complexes, one or more proteins, one or more stimulants and a vitamin premix which includes at least three vitamins. The natural energy drink may optionally, but preferably, include one or more, flavanols, acidulants, coloring agents, minerals, soluble fibers, non-caloric sweeteners, flavoring agents, preservatives, emulsifiers, oils, carbonation components, and the like, to enhance, for example, its performance in providing energy, mental alertness, organoleptic properties, and nutritional profile. |
