PURPOSE: A pressure reservoir for a common rail system is provided to form high inner pressure under dynamic loads by a simple method without increasing material terms desired and a space for the pressure reservoir according to the external dimension or wall strength. CONSTITUTION: A pressure reservoir for a common rail system includes a tubular basic body(2) having a wall(3). The wall has a storage space(4) for storage of a medium provided to the inside. The tubular basic body has at least one through hole(5) extended through the wall and opened toward the inside of a through passage(6) of a branch element(7), to make the medium flow to the outside. The wall has two recesses(8) to the outside to receive the branch element. The branch element is arranged in a state of making the medium flow to the outside through the through passage. The pressure reservoir has an attachment unit(9) for fixing the branch element to the wall of the body.
