PURPOSE: An automatic gabion production machine is provided which realizes improvement of productivity and reduction of manpower by adopting epochal power transmission method and mechanizing finishing of a cut part of produced wire netting. CONSTITUTION: The automatic gabion production machine comprises a wire station on which an iron wire formed in a bundle is mounted; rollers(2) through which the iron wire pass; first feeder(3) in which the wire is fed so that bending of the wire is leveled; a weaving die(4) for weaving the wire; a twisting unit(5) in which the woven wire is twisted by halfmoon gear as the half-moon gear is being rotated twice; a weaving die sliding unit(6) in which network is formed as upper and lower dies are being moved side to side; a leader(7) for transferring the twisted wire netting forward; a shearing unit(8) for cutting the produced wire netting to a required size; and a twister(11) for finishing a sharp tip part of the cut wire netting, thereby completing formation of the wire netting, wherein all movements of the foregoing units are accurately controlled by servo motor and control system.
