PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surging damping method in an active vibration-proof system using a coil spring. SOLUTION: In the active vibration-proof system using the coil spring 3 as a vibration absorbing body absorbing vibration supporting a bench 2 of a vibration proof base, stainless plates 4 are piled up on the upper end face of the coil spring 3, Sorbothanes 6 are piled up and stuck on an upper surface of a stainless plate 4 in a plate shape via a double-faced tape 5, and the vibration absorbing body 1 is formed by arranging the coil spring 3, and the stainless plate 4, the double-faced tape 5 and the Sorbothane 6 in a row in the vertical direction so as to attenuate the surging generated owing to the coil spring 3.
