FIELD: road-building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to constituents of bituminous concrete pavements, in particular to amino-containing cationic bitumen emulsifiers, which are applied to obtain bitumen emulsions when building and repairing pavements. Invention consists in that cationic bitumen emulsifier represents a mixture of polyamidoamines and polyaminoimidazolines contained in proportions providing amine number of mixture 22 to 33 g HCl per 100 g product and acid number higher than 10 mg KOH per 100 g product. This emulsifier may further contain up to 15% of hydrocarbon diluent with viscosity no higher than 4 cSt. Method of preparing emulsifier is characterized that saturated and unsaturated C10-C20-acids are condensed with polyethylene-polyamines comprising from 90 to 100% compounds with at least 4 nitrogen atoms. Condensation is conducted at 150-250(r) at stirring. More specifically, following ethylene polyamines are used: polyethylene-polyamines, triethylene-triamine, tetraethylene-pentamine, pentaethylene-heptamine, and following carboxylic acids: tallow oil fatty acids, oleic acid, and stearic acid. Emulsifier includes compounds of following five different structural formulas: polyaminamides and polyaminoimidazolines , where n = 3-7, m = 13-17, and p varies from 2m-5 to 2m+1. EFFECT: enabled manufacture of homogenous bitumen emulsions, stable on storage and suitable for all types of road works. 4 cl, 2 tbl, 15 ex |
