PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generation method for a simulation model file using an operation history file, capable of being easily and accurately executed regardless of an operator. SOLUTION: This generation method comprises: a processing step for converting to variables by replacing specific numerical data included in the operation history file with a peculiarly distinguishable variable; a library registration step for registering the operation history file converted into the variable at the processing step for converting to variables into a library as a shape master file; and a variable definition file generation step for defining the numerical data corresponding to the variable conversion processed to a variable processing step for converting to the variable, and generating a variable definition file added with link information to the specific library registered at the library registration step.
