PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the reliability of an operation control device while miniaturizing the operation control device with respect to the mounting of the operation control device of a refrigerator. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a metallic machine room base plate 11 configurating a bottom part of a machine room 7 of the refrigerator, and a power supply means (power circuit block 9 and power conversion control part 10) for supplying the power to a compressor 8. The power supply means is closely attached to the machine room base plate 11 by using a holding means 12 to radiate the heat generated from the power supply means, from the machine room base plate 11 and radiate the heat from a refrigerator casing through the machine room base plate 11, which dispenses with an air trunk for cooling the power supply means and a heat sink, miniaturizes a device, simplifies a constitution, and remarkably improves the reliability of parts of the power supply means of comparatively high heat generating amount.
