<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately, easily inspect the appearance of an object to be inspected by a simple configuration and to simplify the structure of a conveyance means for moving the object to be inspected to an inspection position. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for inspecting the appearance of the object to be inspected, for example a coil bobbin 2, comprises a conical-surface-shaped reflector 10; an image capturing means 30 for capturing an image, where the outer-periphery surface of the object to be inspected (the coil bobbin 2) arranged at the inspection position outside the conical-surface-shaped reflector 10 projects onto a reflection surface 11, as an image; an image processing means 41 for processing the image captured by the image capturing means 30; a light source 16; and an annular lighting means 20 for lighting a partial outer-periphery surface of the object to be measured. In the conical-surface-shaped reflector 10, a truncated-cone-side-shaped reflection surface 11 is provided at an inner-surface side and the inclination of the reflection surface 11 is at least 60°, preferably 75°, thus displaying the accurate image for indicating a state, where the outer periphery of the side is developed, by an image display means 42 even if the inspection target is not inserted into the conical-surface-shaped reflector 10 and hence simply achieving the accurate appearance inspection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
