METHOD FOR DECOMPOSING NONMETALLIC HONEYCOMB PANEL AND METHOD FOR RECYCLING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of reutilizing a honeycomb panel by decomposing the honeycomb panel into each of the constituents one by one in a step mode without using a special solvent or a special catalyst.

SOLUTION: The method for decomposing a nonmetallic honeycomb panel comprises treating crushed pieces of the nonmetallic honeycomb panel together with a treating water under the conditions of a high temperature and a high pressure for a given period of time to decompose the constituents of the nonmetallic honeycomb panel wherein as a treating water is used water or water containing an alkali added thereto. The method has a first treatment step of treating with water adjusted to a subcritical region for a given period of time to hydrolyze an aromatic polyamide and a second treatment step of treating with the treating water adjusted to a supercritical region for a given period of time. In the first treatment step, the aromatic polyamide is hydrolyzed and then separated and in the second treatment step, the dehalogenation is performed.
