PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transport a pipe while a rubber ring and a pressing ring are set in a receive port in advance and perform speedy connection work of pipes by merely tightening the pressing ring after inserting an insertion port into the receive port. SOLUTION: This pipe joint is constituted in such a way that the insertion port 3 formed in an end part of the pipe on one side is inserted into the receive port 2 formed in an end part of the pipe on the other side and the rubber ring 5 for sealing is pressed in between an inner face of the receive port 2 and an outer face of the insertion port 3 in the axial direction by the pressing ring for sealing. A side face 10a of a receive port opening of the pressing ring 10 is a tapered face 10a inclined in the direction of center from the outer periphery toward an opening side of the receive port 2. A bolt 14 screw-fitted in a screw hole 13 formed on an outer face of the receive port 2 and passing through in the radial direction is screwed in the tapered face 10a. The pressing ring 10 can move in the radial direction by tightening force of the bolt 14, and the rubber ring 5 for sealing is pressed into an innermost part of the receive port 2 in accordance with moving of the pressing ring 10.
