摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping device of a novel structure, which is installed in a rotating member, and in which a jumping displacement for a housing of a mass member even under the condition where a centrifugal force is exerted is effectively brought about, and a damping effect based on striking the housing of the mass member is more effectively influenced. SOLUTION: The independent mass member 16 in an approximately triangular shape and a housing dead space 14 in an approximately circular shape are adopted. A supporting shaft 40 erected at the center of the housing dead space 14 is loosely inserted into a central hole 38 of the independent member 16 to restrict the contact with an inside perimeter of the hosing dead space 14 with the supporting shaft 40 in the independent mass member 16, to prevent smooth rolling displacement in the housing dead space 14 of the independent mass member 16, and to prevent a stable contact with the inside surface of the housing dead space 14 of the independent mass member 16 owing to the action of the centrifugal force. Therefore, on inputting the vibration, the damping effect is effectively exerted based on the striking by effectively carrying out jumping displacement to the housing 12 for the independent mass member 16.
