PURPOSE: A rotary key device in a mobile terminal is provided to swiftly achieve the movement of keys to execute the menu and operation modes of a terminal by installing a rotary key which can be rotated clockwise and counterclockwise. CONSTITUTION: A rotary key device main body(10) is composed of a base plate(30), the second printed circuit board(40), a rotary key(70), a contact plate(80), and a fixed button(90), sequentially combined. The base plate(30), comprising the first adhesive part(34), is attached to the upper surface of the first printed circuit board(20). The first dome switches(51) and the second dome switch(52) are formed at one side of the second printed circuit board(40) and at the center of the other side respectively. The first dome switch side adhesive part(54) is provided at one side of the second printed circuit board(40) so that the first dome switches(51) can be attached to the second printed circuit board(40). The second dome switch side adhesive part(55) is provided at the other side of the second printed circuit board(40) so that the second dome switch(52) can be attached to the second printed circuit board(40). At the center of each of the dome switch side adhesive parts(54,55), a pair of fixing holes(54a,55a) are formed so as to be connected with fixing bosses(91a) formed at a fixing part(91).
