<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter capable of suppressing fluctuation in an input level of an amplifier to an average corresponding to carrier level fluctuation. <P>SOLUTION: The transmitter comprises an input power operation part 16, an output power operation part 17, a monitoring part 18, and a signal level adjusting part 15. The input power operation part 16 calculates the average input power of each carrier. The output power operation part 17 calculates the average output power of each carrier after band limiting. The monitoring part 18 identifies a carrier whose average input power becomes the maximum, acquires the maximum value, further acquires the average output power of the identified carrier, obtains a ratio of the acquired average input power to the acquired average output power, and calculates level control information which is a ratio of the above ratio to predetermined expectation. The signal level adjusting part 15 adjusts a level of multicarrier signal by multiplying the level control information outputted from the monitoring part 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
