<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent effective for preventing and treating obesity which is a main risk factor of life-style related diseases, safely takable everyday and producible from easily available raw materials. <P>SOLUTION: The antiobesity agent and a diet agent contain dried powder or extract of pomegranate flower as an active component.
