<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device configured in such a manner that a plurality of different simple character information are made clearly visible. <P>SOLUTION: A display material 10 configured to a cylindrical shape by display plates 1a, 1b, 2a, and 2b, which are formed by respectively forming character information "ABC" and "XYZ" consisting of minute crack groups on amorphous transparent resin plates and providing the surface of such character information with color bearing layers, is freely rotatably supported at a shaft rod 8 fixed at both ends and the right and left side ends of the display material 10 are installed with light source mechanisms 11 and 12 respectively arranged with light emitting diodes 16 and 17 on the inside surface so as to confront each other. The fine crack groups are made to glitter by intermittently rotating the display material 10, lighting a light source for the light emitting diodes and making the rays thereof incident on the display material from its end of the plate existing in a display state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
