PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for securing a structural component to a panel provided with a pipe part inserted to a hole of the panel in which a screw is inserted to the pipe part, a head part of the screw is supported on one end of the pipe part, the screw part retains the structural component, the structural component is in contact with the other end of the pipe part and the pipe part is threaded into the panel hole by optional distance for axial adjustment. SOLUTION: The pipe part is provided with a distance detection member and when the pipe part is at a distance from the assembly member, the distance detection member is in its starting position projecting out of the pipe part on its side facing away from the screw head. When the pipe part is in contact with the structural component, the distance detection member is noticeably displaced out of the pipe part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
