PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overrunning clutch pulley hard to wear and low in manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: The overrunning clutch pulley 10 comprises a pulley member 12 having an input face 14 for engaging with an input device, a hub member 16 having an output face 18 for engaging with an output device, and a clutch cartridge 20. The clutch cartridge has a pulley engagement sleeve 22 for engaging with a pulley cartridge face 24 of the pulley member, a hub mounting sleeve 26 for engaging with a hub cartridge face 28 of the hub member, and a coil spring 30 mounted at one end on the hub mounting sleeve. When the pulley member is accelerated relative to the hub member in the first rotating direction, the coil spring engages with the pulley engagement sleeve, and when the pulley member is decelerated relative to the hub member in the first rotating direction, it disengages from the pulley engagement sleeve.
