<p>An eccentric amount measurement device and an eccentric amount measurement method capable of accurately measuring an eccentric amount of an optical disc with a simple configuration. For this, an optical disc (W) is driven to rotate by a rotation drive section (11), and a spot light is applied to a signal recording surface of the optical disc so that reflected light is received by photodetector groups A, B, C, D of an optical pickup section (12). A tracking error signal is generated by a TES signal generation circuit (20). Upon reception of the tracking error signal generated by the TES signal generation circuit, the frequency of the tracking error signal is converted into a voltage value by a frequency/voltage conversion circuit (21). A rotation rectangular wave signal indicating a rotation angle of the optical disc is received from the rotation drive section so as to calculate the eccentric amount of the optical disc.</p> |
