<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monoclonal antibody against dermatophyte, and to provide a hybridoma producing the antibody to provide a new means for separating and detecting the dermatophyte, especially Trichophyton by using the antibody. <P>SOLUTION: The monoclonal antibody has reactivity with at least three kinds of the dermatophyte selected from Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum.
