PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash window, on which an attachment is mounted easily and which is hardly subject to the effect of the direct rays of sunlight. SOLUTION: In a window frame 10 for a double sliding window 1, a screwing section 36 is screwed by a screw 361, and an engaging section 37 is engaged in the mounting structure of the attachment 30 to a lower frame 11. Accordingly, the mounting works of the window frame 10 can be facilitated sufficiently in a factory. In the attachment 30, the screwing section 36 and the engaging section 37 are separated vertically, and a top face section 31 exposed to an upper section is installed only on the outdoor side from the external end faces 111B and 112B of the lower frame 11. Consequently, not only the attachment 30 is difficult to warp in the aspect direction in a mounting structural manner but also a direct sunlight incident area can be reduced, a thermal elongation and a warpage with the elongation can be prevented and a flapping can be prevented surely in the attachment 30.
