FILTER FOR REMOVING WATER SOLUBLE HARMFUL GAS, REGENERATING METHOD OF THE SAME, AND AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for removing a water soluble harmful gas capable of removing a water soluble harmful gas such as formaldehyde, NOx and SOx and being regenerated.

SOLUTION: The air is brought into contact with a water film condensed on a surface of a washable hygroscopic material 5 having a moisture absorbing/releasing function to dissolve the water soluble harmful gas included in the air. Further the air is brought into contact with a water film condensed on the surface of the washable-hygroscopic material 5 having the reversible moisture absorbing/releasing function to dissolve the water soluble harmful gas included in the air. Further the hygroscopic material 5 is composed of hygroscopic ceramic. The hygroscopic material 5 is molded into the honeycomb shape and having a number of ventilating passages of low pressure loss. Further the gas removing filter 4 with the water film in which the water soluble harmful gas included in the air is dissolved, is dipped in the weak alkaline aqueous solution to be regenerated.
