PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof box which can take in and out many kinds of luggage without damaging a vehicle even in a large volume or rainy conditions and control an increase in air pressure during vehicle running as much as possible and also be applied to the vehicle with rear spoiler. SOLUTION: A stream-lined roof box with a side view of almost semi-vertically sectioned rocket covering almost all roof area is fixed closely along the upper surface of the roof, and a cavity 12 with a side view of bent nail is equipped in the rear end of the roof box 10. The roof box 10 has a main body 11 which has each luggage entrance at both sides extending from an almost center position in a short side direction of the stream-lined shell body to both edges in a long side direction , and an opening and closing flip-up lid 15, 15 which is equipped swingably around an longitudinal axis direction of the roof box 10 to shut both luggage entrances.
