The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for providing classified advertisements on the Internet. The present invention provides a method for providing classified advertisements using the Internet, comprising the steps of receiving information on a box advertisement from an advertisement applicant; receiving a key word related to the box advertisement from the advertisement applicant; storing the box advertisement information and the key word in a storage device; providing a box advertisement containing contents corresponding to the box advertisement information to a web page; receiving a search key word for use in searching for a box advertisement from a user; and searching the storage device and providing information on a box advertisement associated with a key word matched with the search key word. According to the present invention, there is provided a method of efficiently and correctly searching for box advertisements by accommodating various needs of users. |
