PURPOSE: A method for managing state data of a multi-processor system is provided to prevent the state of a child processor from being monitored differently from a real state of by updating directly state data according to the state of the child processor. CONSTITUTION: A parent processor checks an operating state of a child processor. The state data including the operation state of the child processor checked by the parent processor are stored. The corresponding state data are checked by each child processor(S32). The consistency between the state data and the operating state of the child processor is checked(S34). The state data are updated if the state data does not correspond to the operating state of the child processor(S36).
