FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of recirculation of part of exhaust gases from exhaust pipe of diesel engine to engine inlet, exhaust gases from exhaust pipe are directed through recirculation pipeline to controlled device of valve. Valve control device contains gates. At least one of gates is always kept, and other gate is closed by means of control motor common for gates. Device for recirculation of part of exhaust gases from exhaust pipe of diesel engine to engine inlet contains valve device. Valve device contains gates. Device is made for constantly keep one of gates open. Control motor common for gates is installed to close other gate. Valve to mix two fluid has two inlet channels. Gates are arranged in both inlet channels to keep at least one of gates open. Common control motor is installed to close second gate. According to proposed method, part of exhaust gases from diesel engine is recirculated to its inlet, and delivery of fresh air and recirculation exhaust gases into diesel engine is provided by means of valve devices controlled by control device. Information from lambda tester, engine speed pickup and engine load pickup is supplied to control device to regulate air/fuel ratio of diesel basing of said information and valve device. Proposed diesel engine control device contains recirculation pipeline and valve device controlled by control device. Lambda tester, engine speed pickup and engine load pickup are connected with control device to supply information to control device. Control device is installed to control air/fuel ratio in diesel engine basing on said information and by means of valve device.
