PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flavor improver reinforcing natural flavor or/and deliciousness of food and drink products by making the food and drink products maintain their original flavor and by reinforcing the characteristic flavor and taste of the food and drink products, and having no influence on the taste of the food and drink products.

SOLUTION: The flavor improver contains a vitamin C fatty acid ester as an active ingredient, and the method for improving the flavor of food and drink products comprises using the flavor improver. The vitamin C fatty acid ester preferably comprises a 14-16C saturated fatty acid ester of the vitamin C, and particularly preferable is vitamin C palmitate.
