PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared cutoff filter which has spectral transmissivity matching the sensitivity of the retina of a human's eye. SOLUTION: The infrared cutoff filter is formed of a dielectric multi-layered film and has≥90% mean transmissivity in a wavelength range of 500 to 600nm nearby 550 nm at which the retina of the human's eye has the best sensitivity, a 600 to 700nm half value,≤10% mean transmissivity in a wavelength range of 750 to 1,000nm in a near-infrared range to be cut, and spectral transmissivity of≥40nm in wavelength width when the transmissivity decreases from 90 to 10%.
