PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth opening/closing and moving operations by reducing a friction resistance between a support part and a runner sliding surface of a curtain rail and hold the performances for a long time. SOLUTION: This curtain rail is provided with the curtain rail, a suspension ring 13 suspending a curtain and a runner 10 supported by the support part 4 of the curtain rail and having a sliding surface sliding on the surface of the support part. A recessed groove 4a is formed on the surface of the support part 4 of the curtain rail in contact with the sliding surface of the runner and lubricant 9 is embedded in the recessed groove 4a.
