<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin thread having an excellent X-ray contrasting property, and used suitably in a medical device, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This resin thread consists of a thermoplastic resin containing a radiopaque agent. As the thermoplastic resin, a styrene-based elastomer resin, etc., are suitable. As the radiopaque agent, although barium sulfate, sodium oxide, etc., are cited, barium sulfate is preferable among them. Also, by containing 50-60% radiopaque agent and 10% silicon dioxide in the styrene-based resin to make 70 degree resin hardness, it is possible to reduce troubles in extrusion molding and improve operational properties. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
