PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely ensure excellent alignment accuracy of a lens holder with respect to a housing. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser device is provided with a stem 3 on which a semiconductor laser 6 is deposited, the housing 2 fitted to the stem to enclose the semiconductor laser and formed cylindrically, and the lens holder 14 coupled to the housing in a fitted state, accommodating a condenser lens 18 in its inside and formed cylindrically. The lens holder is moved in an optical axis direction of the laser beam emitted from the semiconductor layer with respect to the housing and the position is adjusted, and part of the coupled part of the housing or the lens holder is pressurized from an outer circumferential side toward the inside to plastically deform the housing and the lens holder thereby fixing the both.
