<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording disk provided with a recording layer mainly made of an organic compound, a dielectric layer formed on the recording layer, and a light transmission layer formed on the dielectric layer, and capable of greatly reducing the noise level of a recording signal and the crosstalk thereof to adjacent tracks. <P>SOLUTION: This optical recording disk 1 is provided with a supporting substrate 2, a recording layer 5 formed on the supporting substrate 2 and mainly made of an organic compound, a dielectric layer 6 formed on the recording layer 5, and a light transmission layer 7 formed on the dielectric layer 6.
