<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a program, and a method for unregistered character processing for generating electronic document data that can display and output unregistered characters normally irrelevantly to an unregistered character system of a reception-side computer and also display and output unregistered characters of high quality irrelevantly to the resolution of the reception side. <P>SOLUTION: On the sending side of the electronic document data, the unregistered characters are converted into vector data representing their outlines and represented as line drawings, and then the unregistered characters can be displayed and outputted normally irrelevantly to the unregistered character system of the reception side. The unregistered characters are processed as the vector data, so they hardly have differences in picture quality even when enlarged and reduced according to the resolution of a display device and an output device, so even when different computers are used, display and output of high quality with smoothness are enabled as compared with transmission of image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
