<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generating device, and a starting device for a wind power generator using that, capable of utilizing natural energy only under consideration of environments, and restricting running cost to be low. <P>SOLUTION: This wind power generating device is provided with a transparent case having a gas introducing port at a lower part, and a gas discharge port at an upper part, an ascending current generating means provided in the transparent case to heat gas by sunlight for generating ascending currents, rotary blades provided above the ascending current generating means to convert energy of the ascending currents into rotation energy, and a power generating means to generate power by the rotation energy obtained by the rotary blades. The starting device drives the power generating means to generate power by energy generated by the power generating means, and accumulated in an accumulating means, and give starting torque to a rotor of the power generator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
