<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a front grille easily attachable to and detachable from a front panel for improving the external appearance of the front grill. <P>SOLUTION: The front grille is separated into an upper plate and a lower plate to be coupled to an upper part and a lower part of the front panel. Hinge means are provided at both sides of the upper part of the front panel, whereas first coupling members to be detachably coupled to both hinge means are provided at both sides of the back face of the upper plate. The hinge means has a first elastic piece arranged in a hinge hole and a hinge shaft projecting from the first hinge piece. The first coupling member is coupled to the hinge shaft and is arranged to project from the back face of the upper plate to the front panel so as to be turnable in the front and back direction. Slide holes are formed at both sides of the lower part of the front panel, whereas second coupling members that can slidably movable along the respective slide holes are provided at both sides of the back face of the lower plate for detachably attaching the lower plate to the front panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
