摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the wavelength of light projected from an optical resonator adjustable to conform to the wavelength band of incident light that can be converted by a wavelength conversion device even when the wavelength of light of the optical resonator is unconformable to the wavelength band of incident light. <P>SOLUTION: In a state where no outer force is applied to an optical fiber 3, a grating part 6 is formed so as to make the wavelength of light emitted from an optical resonator composed of a semiconductor amplifying element 1 and an optical fiber 3 slightly shorter than the wavelength band of incident light that can be converted by a wavelength conversion element 5. A knob 24 is turned around to extend the grating part 6 for adjusting the wavelength of light emitted from the optical resonator to the wavelength of incident light that can be converted by the wavelength conversion element 5. Even when variations in the center wavelength of light reflected from the grating part 6 are caused by errors made in the fabrication of the grating part 6, the wavelength of light emitted from the optical resonator can be adjusted to the wavelength band of incident light that can be converted by the wavelength conversion element 5.
